We care about the invironnement.

As far back as 1992, firmily convinced that protecting our water resources was a vital part of a green dairy, we were the first in the province of Parma to design and build a sistem to collect the steam produced during production of our cheese.

This excellent idea means that we can re-use-and therefore save around 5,000 liters of already-heated water per day.

This allows us to reduce the quantity of fuel needed for the production of our cheese by 15%.

We produce our Parmigiano Reggiano using the power of the sun.

In 2012 we decided to re-think our use of energy, and as a result we substituted the old roofs of our production facility with new heat-isolating panels, so improving our control of temperature inside the plant.

This also led to the installation of solar panels.

Today our plant uses renewable energy, in effect 60% of the energy that we consume comes from environment-friendly sources.
